Robert A. Oei, EA   Mr. Oei's twenty years of experience in public and private accounting and with the Internal Revenue Service makes him uniquely qualified to head up the firm's tax department. His professional career began at the Internal Revenue Service where he worked as a tax auditor for six years. When he left in 1983 it was to pursue his desire to help clients develop strategies to minimize their tax burdens. Since then, Mr. Oei's extensive experience, primarily in public accounting, has provided him great expertise in the areas of individual, corporate, partnership and trust taxation. Prior to joining this firm, Mr. Oei's most recently spent more than ten years with local CPA firms. There he worked closely with small businesses not only in the tax planning and compliance area but also serving their accounting needs. Most recently, he has developed a knowledge and expertise in accounting systems design, installation, training and maintenance including computerized accounting systems. He finds this aspect of his work very rewarding as it enables the client to better manage their businesses. Mr. Oei graduated from California State University Northridge with a B.S. in Accounting and a minor in Finance. He completed his advanced tax training with the Internal Revenue Service and keeps current with the ever changing tax laws through extensive continuing education. He became an Enrolled Agent in 1991 and is an active member of the National Association of Enrolled Agents and the California Society of Enrolled Agents.
